In July 2006 we started our nine-week-journey from Holland to Istanbul. In 62 days we cycled 3700 kilometers along the Rur and Rhein rivers, over the Alps to Venice, along the Adriatic Sea, on the Ionian Islands to Delphi, the Olympus en through Thrace to the battlefields of Gallipoli, to Troy and Asia to finish our journey in front of Istanbul's Blue Mosque.
